Welcome to Pennine Chimes Ladies Barbershop Chorus
This may be your first step into the musical world of Barbershop! Perhaps you saw an ad or article; maybe you saw us perform. However you came to be here, we hope you enjoy yourself and are enthused enough to come along to a rehearsal and share the harmony, the singing, the friendship and the really good time – the total package that is - Barbershop.
Singers of all ages and standards are welcome to join the Chorus, with or without previous musical experience. Help is available to teach you the basics of good singing and also to build on established skills.
A simple voice test will help to place you in the most appropriate section – Lead, Tenor, Baritone or Bass, then the learning process begins. Once a fully fledged member, you will be able to take part in performances and competitions!
